I have stayed at a variety of international and luxury hotels across Indonesia, including properties from Marriott, Hilton, Kempinski, and other major hotel groups. These stays have allowed me to compare not only room quality and resort facilities, but also the practical details that can make a significant difference during a longer trip.

How I Compare Hotels in Indonesia

When reviewing hotels in Indonesia, I look beyond the overall appearance of the property. I compare the experience based on room condition and size, breakfast quality, executive lounge access, elite-member recognition, Wi-Fi reliability, transportation, nearby facilities, resort layout, and value for the rate paid.

For Bali resorts, I also pay close attention to beach quality, resort size, privacy, walking distances, pool facilities, and how convenient the property feels during an actual stay. For city hotels, location, lounge benefits, breakfast, and practical access to restaurants and shopping become more important.
