Thailand Hotel Reviews Based on Real Stays
Thailand is one of the countries I return to most often, and I have stayed at a wide range of hotels across Bangkok and Pattaya.
Over the years, I have stayed at more than 20 well-known hotels in Bangkok alone, including international brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, Sheraton, and Accor, as well as established regional hotels. This has given me the opportunity to compare not only rooms and facilities, but also the details that can make a significant difference during an actual stay.
How I Compare Hotels in Thailand
When reviewing hotels in Thailand, I look beyond the room itself. I compare the overall experience based on the factors that matter most during an actual stay, including room condition and size, breakfast quality, executive lounge access, elite-member recognition, Wi-Fi reliability, transportation, nearby facilities, and value for the rate paid.
Bangkok hotels can differ significantly even within the same price range, particularly when it comes to lounge benefits, breakfast, location, and room condition. In Pattaya, I also pay close attention to sea views, resort facilities, access to the beach, and whether a property is better suited to couples, families, or a short city break.
